Tailgating and Small Gatherings

If you're interested in tailgating before the game or having a small gathering, there are specific guidelines and regulations to be aware of. Tailgating is only permitted in the designated Washington Gravel Parking Lot, also known as Tailgate Alley. This area is exclusively reserved for tailgaters and opens three hours before kickoff. Tailgating must end no later than one hour after the game ends.

• Clean Up: Remember to clean up the area before leaving by using the provided trash receptacles. Dispose of grill coals in the appropriate containers provided in the tailgate area.
• Designated Area: Tailgating outside of the designated Tailgate Alley is not allowed. Fans found tailgating in other parts of the campus may be requested to move to the designated area.
• Alcohol Restrictions: Alcohol is not permitted within the stadium. Any individual found in possession of alcoholic beverages will be refused admission to the game.

Parking Regulations

Parking at Joe Walton Stadium is available on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that you arrive early to secure your parking spot, especially on game days when there is high demand. Please adhere to the directions given by police officers when entering the campus parking lots to ensure an efficient parking process that accommodates a large number of vehicles.

• Special Needs Parking: Individuals with government-issued handicap parking placards should park in the designated areas in the front lots of the Sewall Center. Signage will direct you to these spaces.

Smoking and Prohibited Items

Joe Walton Stadium is a non-smoking venue, and smoking is only allowed in designated areas marked by signs. Please help keep the stadium area clean by using the ash tray receptacles provided in the smoking areas. Additionally, the following items are prohibited inside the stadium:

• No Glass Containers: For safety reasons, glass containers are not allowed inside the stadium.
