We came for N1 of the Taylor Swift Eras tour, and this was an amazing and easy parking experience! They had a list of people who reserved, checked us in, and valet parked our car for us. When the concert was done, we texted them when we were 5 mins away, and they brought our car out and had it waiting for us! Would definitely park here again!

Hard Rock Stadium Parking: Everything You Need to Know

When you plan on catching a game or concert at Hard Rock Stadium, the first thing on your mind is likely where to park. With its rich history and high-profile events, navigating the parking situation can seem intimidating. But fear not! This guide will provide you with all the ins & outs of parking at Hard Rock Stadium, from available spots to transportation tips and more. Let's dive in!

Parking Overview

Hard Rock Stadium, located at 347 Don Shula Dr, Miami Gardens, FL 33056, is home to the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Hurricanes. The stadium hosts several high-profile events, including the Super Bowl and concerts by international stars like Taylor Swift. With a capacity of nearly 65,000 fans, it’s essential to prepare ahead, especially when it comes to parking.

General Parking Information

  • Parking Lots Open: For Dolphins games, parking lots generally open four hours before kickoff. If you’re attending a concert or other events, check specific timings since they may differ.
  • Prepaid Parking Required: It’s crucial to purchase your parking pass in advance because same-day parking is not guaranteed. No one wants to miss out on the fun stuck in a line! You can find more information about the parking passes on the stadium's official site.
  • Event-Specific Parking: For each event, there are different parking options available. Specifically, check out the designated lots for Dolphins Games and other big events.

Parking Lot Locations

To make your life easier, here’s a quick rundown of the major parking lots:

  • Orange Lot: Parking Lot Orange
  • Yellow Lot: Parking Lot Yellow
  • Gray Lot: Check the Gray Lot map
  • Lot 20: View Lot 20
  • ADA Accessible Parking: Designated ADA parking spaces are located in the Yellow Lot (Lots 13-18). Ensure you have a valid disabled parking placard to access these spots. More information can be found here.

Parking Prices

The costs for parking can range depending on the event:

  • On-Site Parking: Rates generally range from $15 to $50
  • Off-Site Parking: May be more economical but could require longer walks, so consider public transport or rideshare services for convenience.
  • Concert Parking: For major concerts, it’s common for parking prices to increase — like during the Taylor Swift Eras Tour, where you might see special rates.

Transportation Options

If parking sounds cumbersome or you simply want to avoid the hassle, there are numerous transportation alternatives:

  • Public Transport: Miami’s public transit system can bring you close to the stadium. Metrorail options are worth checking out for relevant bus transfers.
  • Uber & Lyft: Rideshare services drop off at designated areas near the stadium. Make sure to check their respective pickup spots ahead of time to avoid confusion.
  • Tailgating: If you're looking for a complete game day experience, tailgating is allowed in specific lots, while others are designated as non-tailgating zones.

Helpful Tips for Parking at Hard Rock Stadium

  1. Arrive Early: It’s recommended to arrive well before the gates open to find your ideal parking spot. This helps you avoid the stress of last-minute scrambling.
  2. Use Navigation Apps: Google Maps or Waze can aid significantly in getting you the best route, especially during event days when traffic can be heavy.
  3. Know Your Lot: Familiarize yourself with the parking map before you head out. Once on-site, parking attendants can help guide you, but knowing where to go can save you time.

If you're trying to save a few bucks, make sure to book your parking early!

Oh absolutely! Hard Rock Stadium does offer reserved & premium parking spaces for those looking for a more exclusive experience! Typically, these premium spaces come with additional perks, such as closer proximity to the stadium entrance and perhaps some VIP treatment. However, reservations need to be made in advance -- day-of parking isn't guaranteed, so ensure to snag your spot ahead of time. Especially during busy seasons like Dolphins & Hurricanes games, premium spaces fill up quickly. Accessible parking spots are available – just make sure you have a VALID disabled parking placard that matches your photo ID. You’ll find these accessible spots located both on-site in inner & outer parking lots, as well as certain off-site parking solutions. It’s super important to pre-order your ADA reserved parking pass for inner lots during games; these passes typically sell out fast! For detailed info on how to request ADA parking or any additional assistance, reach out to the guest experience team at 305-943-8000 or visit the ADA parking section of their website.

Yes indeed! Purchasing a parking pass in advance is HIGHLY recommended, especially if you want a guaranteed spot. Prepaid parking is almost always required, especially for the Miami Dolphins games where parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff. The earlier you buy, the better your chances of nabbing a good spot! Passes can be purchased through Ticketmaster or directly via the hardrockstadium.com site. If you wait until the last minute, you might end up stuck without a parking spot, which can be a major hassle!

When game day rolls around, the parking lots at Hard Rock Stadium open 4 hours before the start of the event. This gives you plenty of time to park, grab some snacks, check out the tailgating scene, or just soak up the energy of everyone getting pumped for the game. Just keep in mind that during some events, the gates may close 1.5 hours after the event ends, so plan accordingly! For the most accurate and detailed times, always check the Parking section of the Hard Rock Stadium's website.

Absolutely! Tailgating is a BIG part of game day fun at Hard Rock Stadium, and trust me, they've got some wise guidelines to keep everyone safe & happy. Here’s a rundown of some of the key policies: Occupy only ONE parking space per vehicle, & remember to tailgate directly behind your car while using the designated 8’x10’ space. No blocking fire lanes or crowded pedestrian areas either! The FUN parts? Grilling is allowed, but NO open fires or kegs. Guests deemed too intoxicated might be escorted away (no one wants a bad hangover to ruin the day!). Also, keep your music reasonable – loud music is enjoyable until it disturbs someone’s game day vibes! Want details? Check out the full tailgating guidelines for all the deets!

Yes, yes, YES! Shuttle services from parking lots to the stadium entrance are a FANTASTIC option for getting to the game smooth & efficiently. For those opting for the Park & Ride service, you'll enjoy direct shuttles from the designated lots straight to the NW entrance of the stadium. This means no hauling your gear or trekking across the parking lot! All fans using the Park & Ride service will get details to where & how to access those shuttles. Be sure to check dates & times as schedules can vary depending on the event. More on the shuttles can be found on the Parking & Transportation page.

Losing a parking pass can be a bit of a PANIC moment, but don’t fret too much! If you lose your parking pass, your first step should be to contact the Guest Experience line at 305-943-8000. They can help guide you through the process – whether that means issuing you another pass if possible or helping you with alternative options for parking. You'll want to act FAST, as it can be tough to get another if it’s a busy day on game day. Also, always double-check your email or account for any order confirmations or digital passes since these might be easier to replace than the physical pass. For more tips on what to do lost items, check out their Lost and Found resource.

If you find yourself in a bit of a pickle and the Hard Rock Stadium parking lots are already full, fear not! There are still some great ALTERNATIVE parking options nearby. For starters, you can check out remote parking locations listed on the Hard Rock Stadium website or look for options through ParkMobile, which tends to offer great flexible nearby choices. Depending on the event, some fans have also recommended parking at places like Gulfstream Park or using public transportation options like the Brightline train service, which has connections that will drop you just a hop away from the stadium.
