CU Events Center Parking Guide

Welcome to the CU Events Center Parking Guide! Whether you're attending a basketball game, volleyball match, or any other event at the CU Events Center, we've got you covered when it comes to parking. In this guide, we'll provide you with all the information you need to navigate the parking options available at the CU Events Center.

Parking Services

Parking at the CU Events Center is managed by the Parking Services department. They are responsible for directing parking attendants, coordinating bus parking arrangements, and ensuring that all parking lots are well-maintained and accessible. Public Parking

If you're attending an event at the CU Events Center, no parking fee is charged for public parking. There are designated lots near the CU Events Center where you can park your vehicle. Please refer to the basketball parking map or volleyball parking map for the specific locations of these lots.

ADA parking is available during basketball and volleyball games in Lot 440, located west along Regent Drive in front of the CU Events Center. This parking lot is specifically designated for individuals with disabilities.

Bus parking arrangements can be made by contacting the Events Parking section of Parking Services at parkingevents@colorado.edu or by calling 303-492-7344. Limousines can drop off passengers along Regent Drive and park in Lot 308, located off Kittredge Loop Road to the west of the CU Events Center.

Permit Holder Parking

During games, all valid Parking Services parking permits are honored on a space-available basis in certain lots near the CU Events Center. There is no charge for parking in these lots. The following lots are available for permit holders: Lots 306, 308, 319, 327, 330, 402, 406, 408, 409, 414, 415, 416, 418, 470, Lot 420, and Lot 430. Permit holders are not allowed to access their lots beginning four hours prior to tip-off through one hour after the game. If permit holders arrive during game operations, they will be redirected to park in lots 327 or 436 based on availability. All other lots not mentioned above are subject to day-time restrictions as posted.

It's important to note that campus resident permit holders may experience parking challenges during basketball games, as lots near the CU Events Center are used by game attendees. If a resident permit holder's lot becomes full, they will be directed to an alternate lot and should return to their permitted lot as soon as possible following the game. Enforcement of campus lots will resume at 9:00 am the morning following the basketball game.

Transportation Options

If you're looking for transportation options to get to the CU Events Center, here are some tips to help you navigate around campus:

Bustransit

Whether you're coming to campus from out of town or need to get around Boulder, you can download the Transit App or RTD's Next Ride Trip Planner to see the available bus options, including transportation to and from Denver International Airport. Once you're in town, you can ride "The Hop" to access downtown and the 29th Street Mall. The CU Buff Bus is another convenient option for getting around between parking lots and the main and east campuses.

Bike Share

Boulder BCycle has more than 15 stations on the CU campuses, making it a great option for getting to events. Additionally, Lime e-scooters are available in select locations in Boulder and can be a convenient way to travel between the east campus and West 28th Street.
