Hey there, fellow college football fan! If you’re heading to Tuscaloosa to catch a game at the legendary Bryant-Denny Stadium, you’re in for an experience that’s truly unforgettable. But before you start dreaming about tailgates, touchdowns, and that last-minute field goal, let's talk about something equally important: PARKING! Yep, it can be a little tricky if you don’t plan ahead. So, buckle up as we dive deep into the nitty-gritty of parking options, tips, and everything you need to know for a smooth gameday.
For those making last-minute plans, there’s DAY-OF-GAME parking available for $35 in on-campus lots, but be aware that these lots are CASHLESS. So it's credit or debit only! Multiple lots will be open starting from 7 AM. It's a good idea to check out the parking map to familiarize yourself with the setup.
Also, parking passes come with FREE shuttle service to the Quad! How awesome is that? Speaking of shuttles, you can view the Shuttle Map here.
Purchase Parking Passes ahead of time, or on game day, just don’t forget your phone for the mobile delivery scan!
Now, let's talk accessibility, shall we? Unfortunately, the Tutwiler Deck for accessible parking is usually sold out pretty quickly. So, if you need accessible parking, be sure to purchase your passes in advance. Accessible parking lots include shuttle services to the Quad starting at 7 AM, running until about 1.5 hours after the game ends. A valid accessible hangtag license plate is required to park in these areas.
Once you arrive at the stadium, if you need assistance, simply contact the Guest Service Center by calling or texting 205-348-5620 for a complimentary wheelchair escort to your seating area.
Just a reminder: it's a Class B misdemeanor to use an ADA parking permit in a vehicle that the permit is not issued to, so be smart about that. The penalties can range from a $50 to $200 fine plus 40 hours of community service!
Want to secure your Accessible Parking?
For those who have invested heart & soul into being a Crimson Tide fan, the Tide Pride Parking is for you. Eligible members who hold certain tiers of season tickets get specific reserved parking spots. More details can be found on the Tide Pride Parking Map.
Got a friend who's a university faculty member? Well, they can park at the Performing Arts Center on game days with a valid permit. But students also have parking options if they hold valid UA parking permits which can be found in designated on-campus areas. Check out the Faculty/Staff Parking Map and Student Parking Map here.
Thinking about skipping the parking hassle altogether? Rideshare options are available, but note that there are two designated pick-up & drop-off areas. Specifically, you can pick them up at Thomas Street behind Publix or next to Chimes Condos. Just keep in mind that NO vehicles (including Uber & taxis) will be allowed access to the core campus four hours prior to kickoff, and for about 90 minutes postgame.
